Thank you for tuning into "Starting Small", a podcast about brand development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the modern world. In this episode, I am joined by Richard Worsham, Founder of Janus Motorcycles, classic, lightweight motorcycles handbuilt in Goshen, Indiana. Growing up in Virginia, Richard was nurtured around architecture and design. Developing this fascination, Richard studied literature at Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in 2003 and studied architecture at the University of Notre Dame in 2007.
During his time at Notre Dame, Richard established a relationship with his now co-founder, Devin, in which they worked together at a moped shop near campus. Collaborating their expertise, they created Janus in 2011, with a vision to channel the history of motorsports, with a functional leisure bike. To date, Janus has been feature in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Jay Leno's Garage, and much more.
