With McKenzies background in sewing, she was able to mock up a new wallet for him out of elastic, offering a more compact and slick option. They noticed the void in the wallet industry, where there were only bulky and unneeded pieces throughout the classic wallet. This led to the creation of Thread Wallets, a brand focused on functionality and expression. 

Today, Thread Wallets has expanded their offerings to lanyards, lip balm holders, and many more cultural trends. They can currently be found in pop up stores, malls, and online at threadwallets.com
